'One CRPF personnel was injured in the blast which occurred at Belpahari area of West Midnapore district. When the police returned fire, a private bus was caught in between (the cops and the Maoists), leaving two passengers injured,' West Bengal Inspector General of Police (Law and Order) Raj Kanojia told IANS.

The incident occurred Friday afternoon at Domohoni bridge, around 200 km from here, in Maoist-affected Belpahari region.

'The blast was not of very high intensity,' Kanojia said.
