English and Arabic A call for the Conference of Calcutta India A call to the nation, to the country and to the Arabs and globe world Under the auspices of the All India Anti- Imperialist Forum The Arab and all Worlds and the whole humanity are suffering under hatred, under catastrophes, under bloody massacres and under occupation and oppression since the installation of the first Zionist settlements of occupation over the ground of Palestine since the end of the 19-th century Instead of reaching liberty and self determination and living in peace the struggle is still going on between the part of right and good constituting of the Arab people in occupied Palestine, in occupied Lebanon, in occupied Iraq and in occupied Syria, and the part of injustice, of occupation and of aggression against the peaceful towns and villages as well as against people, civilization and heavenly religions. The colonial countries steadily assisted this aggression, first of all by the USA and the Zionist entity that is violating the ground and the whole rights of the people in a genocide war of total annihilation. The last chain in this barbaric aggression lies in the offensive against the resistance movement that is defending the bare existence of the people in their countries and abroad. The conference will discuss on programmes against globalization, imperialism, Zionism and military occupation particularly by US imperialism. As an integral and inaugural part of the conference, we have planned to hold a protest demonstration on November 27, in front of the USA consulate in Calcutta with all the foreign and Indian delegates joining the march. The delegate sessions will be held on November 28 to 29, 2007 at Mahajati Sadan Auditorium in Calcutta which has a capacity accommodation of 1400. Indian delegates will come from all the twenty provinces (states) of our country, to participate in the programme. As a part of our effort to help build up anti-imperialist movement, since 1995 when the All India Anti- Imperialist Forum was founded, we have been holding international convention or conference at intervals of roughly two years. The last such was held in 2005. Fraternal delegates from different countries of Europe, America and Latin America as also Asian countries like Turkey, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka attended and participated in those programmes. This year, after our return from the conference held by the Arab International Beirut Social Forum held at Beirut, Lebanon on 12- 14 July, we expect a number of delegates from different Arab countries, who are fighting valiantly against US imperialism and Zionism, to participate in the proposed conference of November We trust that your government and ruling parties will extend all sorts of help and cooperation in our fight against imperialism and Zionism and make the proposed conference a success. We would like to see you personally, if need be with a delegation and discuss the whole programme, so that we can evolve some commonness.
